Student Parking

What do you need to obtain an FHS Parking Student Parking Permit?

  • A completed application form
  • Payment of $45 (Cash, Check - Payable to FHS, or paid through E-Funds) 
  • Valid driver's license & vehicle registration for ALL vehicles listed

Design Rules

DESIGNS MUST NOT
  • Falsely indicate the student's parking spot as a handicapped parking spot
  • Incorporate political symbolism or messages
  • Contain inappropriate language
  • Discriminate against the general public on the basis of race, color, national origin, political views, age, sexual orientation, or gender.
DESIGNS SHOULD AND CAN
  • Be an expression of self
  • Be school positive (promote Falcon Spirit)
  • Promote the Class of 2025

Painting Rules

Requirements on Painting Days
  • Use approved paint (Latex Only - NO Oil-based, reflective, luminescent, or clear coat)
  • Leave 3 inches of space between the existing yellow lines
  • Must clean up your mess
  • Seniors are required to paint over their space in May or they will be placed on the obligation list

Process

  • Register your car and obtain a parking permit from the Main Office
  • Submit Spot interest and designs 
  • Print, read, sign, and submit the contract 
  • After design approval - Pay the painting fee of $40 to the Main Office and select your spot - first come, first choice.  Cash or personal check made payable to Farmington Public Schools (This fee does not include the necessary supplies)
  • Be present the date chosen to apply your base coat to your assigned parking spot
  • Be present the date chosen to paint your assigned parking spot
