Design Rules
DESIGNS MUST NOT

Falsely indicate the student's parking spot as a handicapped parking spot

Incorporate political symbolism or messages

Contain inappropriate language

Discriminate against the general public on the basis of race, color, national origin, political views, age, sexual orientation, or gender.
DESIGNS SHOULD AND CAN
- Be an expression of self
- Be school positive (promote Falcon Spirit)
- Promote the Class of 2025
Painting Rules
Requirements on Painting Days
- Use approved paint (Latex Only - NO Oil-based, reflective, luminescent, or clear coat)
- Leave 3 inches of space between the existing yellow lines
- Must clean up your mess
- Seniors are required to paint over their space in May or they will be placed on the obligation list
Process
- Register your car and obtain a parking permit from the Main Office
- Submit Spot interest and designs
- Print, read, sign, and submit the contract
- After design approval - Pay the painting fee of $40 to the Main Office and select your spot - first come, first choice. Cash or personal check made payable to Farmington Public Schools (This fee does not include the necessary supplies)
- Be present the date chosen to apply your base coat to your assigned parking spot
- Be present the date chosen to paint your assigned parking spot
